Yeah, I know. What's the point of creating a blog if you don't keep it current or fresh? Believe me, when I started this adventure I had a lot on my mind and was able to put almost endless words down on "paper" to express my feelings...not so much anymore. Here I am though, climbing up from the abyss in which I was hiding, with all kinds of new ideas and rants just built up, waiting to explode.

It is amazing to go back and look at my last entry and realize how much has happened in this world since we last met. The number one person that has had influence over my actions and my feelings is a guy named Barry Soetoro. I don't know if you are familiar with Mr Soetoro, but he is a very influential man and has had a big impact on my life, and probably yours. Mr Soetoro is the CEO of a major organization that is in control of a multitude of sub-companies that pretty much have their finger on everything going on in this world.  The position he holds is a powerful one, untouchable really by todays standards. His biography would read as a classic rise to the American Dream. Supposedly born into a meager beginning, he quickly learned how to work the system and become a student of some fine ivy league colleges. During his education, he was very active in organizing drives and protest to expose the oppressive government and find freedom and inclusion for all people in the world without fear of ever being told "no". He had become a professional community activist, to use his powers as good..not evil. He even ran for local political office so he could continue to elevate the social standing of his followers that believed they deserved an even break, and that the government owed them a decent living.

Mr. Soetoro   mastered the art of public speaking and became very successful at attracting people that would support his cause to better their own lifestyle. This belief grew very popular causing such a high number of people to follow him, it gave him great power. Barry Soetoro had opposition that spoke against his tactics, saying that it was dangerous to promise people something for nothing, but that wasn't popular in his circles, and people began to rally around him and his positive public image.
It was strange to see a mans popularity sky rocket by what he promises he can do for people other than his merits. He thrived on the fears of people, fear that if the general population didn't support him, they would be scolded and called racist. You see, Barry Soetoro is a black man. He aspired to climb to great heights and his foes would be called elitist and racist if they questioned his experience and background. He set his eyes in the top of the ladder. He knew that all the employees of this company were convinced enough, powerful enough, to get him hired as CEO.   He was right.

Barry Soetoro has been in charge for several years now and has pushed his policies on the people in his company for a while and everyone is starting to see that a mistake was made. Everything has costs three times a much as promised, the company has never been in such bad debt. The people that supported him are losing their jobs and entire divisions under his company are having to close the doors due to his direct policies that he believed would help. He still insists on spending large amounts of money on programs to help his people but the company is bankrupt. Foreign companies have invested large amounts in his company, giving them partial ownership. When it came down to it, there was no character there, just a hollow shell. A cardboard cutout placed there by the people because they were so ready to believe the hype. Ready to have a man in charge that would reach out and support the people that would not work to support themselves. A man that was different, so that we could all show the world how diverse and progressive we were. Even the men on his board of directors, men that supported him wholeheartedly, have begun to turn on him.

When we look back at the events that unfolded as a result of his appointment, we will wonder how a civilized populace placed a man with no experience and questionable  morals in  a high ranking profession. It is still unclear if the company will be able to survive, because he is still in charge.
